Returns Policy


1. Our Returns Policy

Our Returns Policy forms part of, and must be read in conjunction with, our Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to change this Returns Policy at any time. This Returns Policy was last updated on November 15, 2018.

It is important that you always check your order or items thoroughly upon receipt before removing any attached tags and before disposing of any original packaging and before use.

If any errors occur or issues arise then these need to be reported to us immediately so we can investigate.

Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, undamaged and unused with their original tags.

All footwear must be tried on a carpeted surface until the customer is certain they are keeping them. Footwear should be returned unmarked, in the original, undamaged shoebox as this is considered part of the product and inside a protective shipping box. Footwear returned without a box, in a damaged box, or with marked soles may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.

Please note that we do not accept returns or cancellations on items that have been customized for you unless the items were damaged or faulty when delivered to you.

To process a return, please follow the following steps:

  • Go to 'Orders and Returns' link in the footer of the website. If you are a registered customer, log in to your account and choose 'Returns' on the bottom-left menu from 'My Account' section. 
  • Select the item(s) you wish to return and click 'Request New Return'. Once you verify your information and submit your request, you will receive an email containing the return authorization number (RMA) and the address you need to return the item to.
  • Pack the item securely and ensure our returns form is included inside.
  • Send the item back via any tracked mailing service you prefer. You will need to obtain a proof of shipping when you send your item to us. Proof of shipping does not cost anything but without it we may not be able to process your refund or replacement in the rare event that your item is lost in transit.

Please note that you are responsible for the return shipping costs and for shipping the item on time.

2. Your statutory rights:

Our Returns Policy does not affect your statutory rights.

3. Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving a reason.

The cancellation period will expire after (14) calendar days after the date on which you or a third party designated by you other than the carrier took possession of the goods, or if the goods included in your order are delivered separately 14 calendar days after the date on which you or a third party designated by you other than the carrier took possession of the last of those goods.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. by selecting the appropriate option in your account or by an email or posted mail). You may use the example model cancellation form below, but it is not obligatory.

4. Effects of Cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you.

Without prejudice to the foregoing, if you have expressly selected a delivery mode other than the least expensive ordinary delivery mode, NEWDRESSCODE.COM will not refund the additional costs you have incurred in this respect.

If you have placed an order for more than one article and do not wish to return all the articles in the order, we will only refund to you the amount for the articles you wish to return, without refunding all or part of the order delivery costs. The reason for this is because the costs incurred in home delivery are fixed. They are paid for each order placed and are invariable, based on the number of garments or articles included in the order.

Your right of withdraw will apply provided the NEWDRESSCODE.COM products are returned in the same conditions as those in which you received them, together with their full original packaging, labels and all accessories related to the same. If the returned product does not comply with the stipulated terms, you will not be entitled to receive a refund and we will send you the NEWDRESSCODE.COM products delivery unpaid.

We will decide whether the NEWDRESSCODE.COM products are in the same conditions as those in which they were sent to you. We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. No refund will be made for returned products which are damaged, incomplete, spoiled, used or soiled due to the fault of the client and they will be made available and sent to the delivery at your own expense.

After checking that the NEWDRESSCODE.COM products you have returned fulfill all the Returns Policy specifications, we will send you an e-mail informing you that the return was accepted. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and not later than:

(a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied; or
(b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods; or
(c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel the contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

If the recipient of the NEWDRESSCODE.COM products is not the person who paid for them, the funds will be reimbursed to the person who made the payment.

5. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with the way in which we have handled the return or replacement of any item, we want to hear about this.
